    HP G62 ghostbusting

    Hello all!
This is my first post here, hope I'll find some answers here

Here is this situation: I friend hands me an G62 with dead USBs, card reader and audio - to check for power issues. But it turns out it is beyond my skills to pinpoint the exact problem.
Exact motherboard type is 01013y000-575-g , I am using schem hp_g62_compaq_cq62_foxconn_star_federer_rev_1.0_sch.pdf, it is not 100% correct, but it is OK for me (so far the difference found was only at PQ561).

OS check: I did check different OSes to rule out any driver issues:
    win7 Enterprise
-Camera not present in dev manager
-Sound card (High definition Audio Controller) : Code 10 in dev manager
-card reader not present (no function) in dev manager
-LAN adapter not present in dev manager
-EXT.USB 0,1,2 no function, no data transfer, +5V OK!
    Ubuntu 13.10 live :
    -no sound hardware found
    -USB no function
    Ubuntu 14.04.2 i386 32bit live :
    -no sound hardware found-
    -USB no function
Blutooth hardware is not installed, so I can't check it's USB communication.

    working (tested on win7):
WLAN OK - this might use USB port 11, or else just PCIe
    Synaptics OK
    VGA OK
    SATA 1 2 OK
    charging OK
    keyboard OK

Some masuring on MB was made to check power issues - checked at power on, at naked motherboard on battery, no other hardware connected:
    USBRBIAS RS93 : OK
    PCH POWER voltages @ CS28, CS35, CS38, DS4, CS39 : OK
    voltages around UB1 : OK
data lines from con8 to LB1 pin 4 and pin 1 : OK
Voltages on UC1 (card reader) Pin 8, 11 : OK ; pin 9 :no effect on card insert, always 0V
Then there are this two peripherals, which use different ports than Ibexpeak USBs and are also unresponsible:
LAN adapter uses PCIE and is also dead.
Audio also isn't working, voltages are OK.
USB data lines are 0V from cold. When inserting any known good USB flashdrive into one of the ports, 5V stays OK, one data line lifts to 3.04V and that's it. I didn't scope it though, thumb drive gives no activity with it's LED.

Also cmos was reset with battery disconnection, confirmed via loss of RTC and
downgraded from F.48 to F.35, made no difference.. Battery or charger - no difference.
Board was mechanicaly stressed to check for intermittent behavior, made some pressing over and under Ibexpeak, all without success.

What am I facing here? Something blocking clock? Ibexpeak half-dead? Corrupt firmware?

    Thanks for your time!

Look for a short in a USB port, like bent/broken pins.

No visual damage at all, measuring yields protection diodes from dataline to GND in both directions; no shorts in between any pins or towards power lines. All 3 EXT USB ports measures the same.
