Hello, have this hp 6735s that freeze. It is uma version. i replaced ATI IGP for a good working one but freezing continues.

Bad SB could cause freezing, disappearing USB, no detection of ODD/HDD/keyboard, things like that.
Reballing should work, southbridges don't get hot, more likely is that the laptop has been dropped and some of the solder balls detached.A working TV? How boring!Originally posted by PeteS in CAComment

reballed SB but still the same. i noticed that when it freeze all voltages is ok but voltage on processor goes from 1.1V to 0.8VComment

My personal experience the other day. Laptop LGR510 (quanta QL8 board UMA) came with problem with inverter and screen. Screen was a quite rare model of 15.4 led with separate inverter. Ordered and replaced ic on inverter (OZ9956B) light came to the screen's leds but the screen wasn't working (the usual screen tab problem). Fixed it. Laptop went into windows but it was so slow and after a few reboots it will not even go into windows (stuck on the running bar of windows vista). Changed everything (CPU, ram, hdd) and was ready to replace - reball Northbridge when I noticed that one of the two resistors of the adj signal to the inverter was not installed on board (the one from the northbridge side) and the signal was coming only from the KBC. So, I decided to replace first the KBC before replacing the Northbridge (The truth was that I had in stock the KBC but I had to wait a long time for a Northbridge replacement).

I have here one interesting problem.

Laptop comes to me with freezing and rebooting problem. All inside was relatively clean and no water damage. Only visible problem was one swolled cell on battery...all was looking like batt problem.
I have put inside new - not original batt, but problem with freezing still. I am able to boot into os, then pc can run few seconds, then freezes and reboot and reboot until force power off.
Quickly i am able to see battery information...batt is detected normally in os with power cycles hours... -
My Yamaha MOX8 synthesizer recently developed two issues.
Firstly, after booting up, it operates as normal. However, after about 5 minutes, the sound starts to get distorted (broken up screeching sound) almost like putting it through a guitar distortion pedal. After a while, the distorted sounds will go away for a while and comes back. At times, the synthesizer will also freeze I need to power off and on again.

i have a Lenovo Ideapad 5 15ARE05 that will freeze randomly.
Sometimes it wont even post, sometimes i can use it for a couple seconds or minutes before it completely freezes.
Sometimes the screen freezes, but still displays the last frame, sometimes (pretty rare) the screen goes black
It does not matter what i do. Installing windows, starting Fedora or just sitting in the bios. After some time it will freeze.

I am here to ask for help identifying a problem with an Asus Rog G513qr, Ryzen 9 5900x and RTX 3070.
The laptop turns on but turns off or freezes when connecting a USB flash drive (even during the ROG logo). Even without using the USB ports, the laptop is unstable and when the charger is disconnected, it freezes.

Hi, trademil Horizon freeze after start like video, i try reset (3sek push stop), remove and I put new ones capaticors 3,3V line digital and analog line.
The device in service mode passes all tests, except for the display test, where it hangs. The display in service mode during engine testing, etc. seems to behave correctly, it shows values, the engine is working, I can adjust its speed but only in service mode, in normal operation after pressing start the machine freezes
All the multiplexers that support the display seem to be working. It's like the processor...
