Satellte L300D no screen

Hi have this satellite with no screen , i reballed the chip Ati, flashed bios but no screen again
i checked the board and i find the caps below CPU are in short, I removed and measured and caps are ok. wen i remove Cpu no more short on the caps.
replaced Cpu and is always the same short.
Any suggestions please

how much resistance do you measure when cpu is on?

Hello guys My name Is Jhan, Can i open a New Thread here I cant post new Thread jhanmhaykhel, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
I have an acer aspire 4730z and its dead,, i open the laptop and search the defective parts and found that the switch(on/offbtn#) has 17v whats wrong with my motherboard...

resistance in the shorted caps is 15 Ohms , two others caps in the middle have 50 Ohms .

So short goes when CPU is not in correct?

Tried another CPU?

If so says there could be a short via the socket... Find a pinout for the socket type and check resistance of socket using a fine needle on DMM (Have been times I have found the internals of the socket have snapped and caused shorts.... Ended up with socket replacement, Shouldn't be an issue if you have the equipment to reball)

15 ohms is normal
