Macbook pro A-1260 start probleem

Laptop power goes on after 5 sec goes out than again on,than stay on, funs on both side are working but nothing els work, screen stay black.
Please any idea what chip make trouble !

includes a NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT

probably vga gone bad...
