LG R380 no power randomly EBR63567605 motherboard

    Hey guys,

I got this laptop atfer the owner gave up on it..
    I bought it for 50$
The keyboad and both hinges were replaced just now.
    Battery is dead though...

This laptop suffered from water damage..

    The problem happens on randomly,
The charging light appears after a sec after plugging in the charger.
    I have a 3.3v on power switch.

When i press the power button the laptop tries to power on for a milisec then fails and the charging light apears again.

sometimes (rare) it powers on just fine.

I opened it up and cleaned the corrosion on some parts the pad just been eaten.

Do you think it is possible to fix it or shall i try to find a used board or just sell it for parts.

      Soap and water wash it
If you have ultrasonic bath then use that with Ultrasonic Cleaners

I gave up on the old mainboard,

I orderd a used one from ebay,

The laptop is starting normally again.

i have one issue, i can't remember the wifi antenas digram...

          i have 4 wires: 2 whites, 2 blacks.

i have 2 wifi cards, i guess one is a 3G modem or something..

could you guide me which goes where? does it even matter?

the mainboard i replaced died too :-)

i want to try and get 1 board working out of 2 bad ones.

need some help on no power symptom..
i already tested the dc jack,
                i got 19vdc on 2 fets..

you can try the bios, reprogrammer the bios chip.

I never did find out how to do i now if its a bios fault?

After plugging in the AC adapter, i don't get the charger light,
only after a few seconds or minutes (randomly) i have light and i manage to power it on.
                    Very strange...

if the charger is ok, it can be the bios, if bios fault laptop won't start.
