i have this problem with a lenovo ideapade s145-15api.
The charging led stays on even when the charger is unplugged. Also in windows it shows that is charging.
Do you have any idea? -

I got an Asus X453SA for repair
Symptom : no display, with charging indicator blinking, with or without battery. Power indicator is steady. When battery plugged in, the current consumption jumps, but the charging indicator is still blinking.
Here is the measured power sequence :

any advice what to check -
by domuAs per subject, on power up display shows no image, but white
flickering screen. Strangely, it only happen after power was lost
when it was on. After power returns - white screen only, but if
disconnect power for 12-24 hrs, and connect then again monitor
works normally.
Any clues how to go about it would be greatly appreciated.-

Old Phone: This phone worked fine for years, then stopped charging If you plugged a charger into it, the phone would make the charging sound, the phone would tell you it is charging, but the battery icon would not have the charging symbol in it and the battery would not charge.I tried new battery, same behavior.
New Phone: Works fine, bought as a donor board to try and repair Old Phone
My interest here is to repair Old Phone, using components parts off New Phone if needed. I am not interested in replacing Old Phone with New Phone.... - Loading...
