Re: Identifying a Power Switch and Function

Ok 2nd part of the fix, which is the Bluetooth module board which has cracked. It's not crucial since Bluetooth is automatically on, this just turns it off I think but if it is relatively straight forward might as well give it a go.

From my inspection the board is completely unpopulated other than the switch? only a single track connects to this switch?

Where I have scratched away the top layer can I get away with a simple wire joining both sides and just plopping some glue and something flat along the board keep it sturdy?

But is it really only one trace? surely it should be two. one send current / signal and one receiving it back?

Yea I'm not going to mess with it now !!

I'm sure it is right way round as the old one had a G in the SW1 pin location and so did the new switch so made sure to align them.

Dell AL440LX power on switch circuit help required
          by Powderfanupnorf
Hi Everyone. First official post so fingers crossed I conform and also manage to get photos to work.

So I am requesting some help from anyone who happens to have one of these motherboards to hand and perhaps a multimeter.

My board has a single row of header pins for all the front panel stuff (have seen others where they are grouped together differently so thats no help) and the two pins for the power on switch had been previously repaired and I am trying to make a better repair. There looks to be pad and trace damage and im happy to relocate the header pin/pins to...

PS5 Edm-010 No Power - Help identifying missing capacitor
          by krob80
Hey everyone. I recently acquired a PS5 that is not turning on (no beep/power). PSU is good and there is no shorting on the 12V rail.
It came with a Gen3 SSD installed so I feel that things went down hill for the previous owner when it was installed. F7003 was blown but there was nothing shorting to ground. I replaced the fuse but still no power (new fuse is still good for now).
When connecting it to a bench power supply, it only pulls 10 mA (doesn't spike when first connected).
I noticed that there are a couple capacitors missing from the Vcore power regulator (pictures attached)....

LTL Acorn 5210A Trail Camera Power Switch
          by CdDvdFlash
I have an LTL Acorn 5210A trail camera and the power switch needs replacing, there is only one site I found that sell them but they want 12 pounds each I'm in Australia so thats $24 but I see these switches are in all sorts of devices everywhere so I'm hoping to find a cheaper one, I dont know what the pinout is for these switches but I have taken apart the camera down to just the board and removed the switch and hooked up a battery pack (4x AA batteries) to see what the voltages are at the traces where the switch was. In the picture of just the switch it is currently in the off position, it moves...
