by deep000My computer monitor ASUS VP249H stopped working, and smoke came out of it.
I opened it and found that a voltage regulator had burned out.
The problem is that I can't identify its reference.
I searched online for schematics or photos of similar boards that people are selling, but without success (no schematics, bad quality of the board or lack of the reference when it's a good quality ๐ ).
How can I find its reference, and do you think it's repairable?
Monitor: Asus VP249H
Board reference: 0171 - 2271 - 6083
Thanks

by cinkoxidHi guys,
I wanted to test a DC adapter and I plugged it into my device and then I immediately smelled the cooked component. I cheked the adapter again and I discovered that it's not a DC but a 24V AC adapter
I took apart my tester and I think I found which component burned but I can't identify it for sure and I'm not sure where could i buy a replacement part which is the same or has similar features.
I attached a few pictures of the component. I think it's a voltage regulator but some of the markings on the component are burned.

by gica69I have a quad charger that is split into 4 separate sections and one section doesnโt charge anymore. I have located what I think is a thermistor and on the shrink tube it says 125 degrees C. I cut the shrink tube and it's a 33 ohms resistor. It measures a little less than 1/2 inch in length. I am including pictures of it. Please help me identify it. So, it should test at 0.4ohms and probably go up in resistance with the rise in temp. On the board it clearly says R for resistor. But it has to be a special one.
Resistor shows orange range silver gold and green lines.
