    MacBook Air 13" A2179 2020. 5Volts .250 amps issue

Customer came in with shorted USB C chips, replaced and the chips are now responding beautifully HOWEVER, I am only getting 5Volts .25 amps (sometimes .243 amps) I see that the T2 chip is turning on, but I am not seeing any voltage at the SSD rails for example,
PP5VG3S_EN is not present which would somewhat indicate a PMIC U7800 issue, but I checked the voltage on the PMIC and that is present and not shorted. I tested for PP5V_G3S and those rails are not present.

ISL9240HI is present, I am also getting 12.30 volts at PPBUS_G3H so no shorts there. Both CD3217 chips were successfully replaced from a working donor board so now those turn on. The customer stated she was using some weird data cable and her computer died from using it. I cannot for certain say this is dead but I had confidence this was going to turn on from those shorts, now I believe its another issue. Any thoughts?

T2 rails stable and not cycling? Make sure you check for a solid 30 seconds. Same with PMU. Is the .25a stable and consistent as well? 12.3v screams T2 or PMU, so you're on the right track. Check diode of the T2 rails closely, one might be slightly higher or lower. Also of course confirm CPU isn't shorted to ground--common on the 01958.
