TL866 II Plus Check ID Error on various IC

Hellow guys , i really need your help here.

Lately i have a problem with My TL 866 II Plus programmer, and to be more specific many times on various IC ( Winbond, Gigadevice Mx) i get Check ID Error while i am trying to read the IC. Has already been detected without any kind of problem, but the only to read them is to uncheck every time the "Check ID " option. After that i can read it erase it and re-program it only to get another error at then end saying that can not verify the programing went well so i have program failed. So i am trying to find out what is going on? I have the latest version of this programmer ( 12.67v). Is there by any chance that the ICs i am trying to read and re-programm to be faulty? Or there is something wrong with my programmer.? If is something wrong with my programmer what can you suggest me?

This is the message that i am getting :

    APP Version : 12.67 Model : TL866II Plus

    Device : GD25B64C @SOIC8

    Pins Detected Passed!

    Check ID Error!

    Checked ID is:0x C0 00 03

Wish to continue programming , please cancel [Check device ID] option!

Thank you very much for your time , i am looking forward for your responces.

You should ping the manufacturer for assistance but there may be a fault with the power supply being applied to the target devices. That is, the PCB inside this programming tool will turn ON / OFF the voltage of varying values to the target chip in the socket. Perhaps something is wrong there but the vendor offers tools to test the voltage on each pin if I recall correctly. Use that test mode to verify if you indeed have a stable voltage on the VCC pin of the flash device.

Looking for help with T48/TL866-3G programmer
      by boomshockpow
Hello! I have the above programmer. I work in IT and we wanted to work on some machines we are receiving back with BIOS admin passwords. Usually from takeovers that had IT departments that left.

I got the programmer today and have tried it on three different winbond chips. (an HP 840 G5 32MB and 16 MB chip and a Lenovo A485 16MB chip) All 8 pin BIOS ROM chips. One 32mb and Two 16mb.

Anyway, I am using the plier/probe connection that the kit came with to the only adapter it fits on with the programmer. The names on the adapter are similar, but not identical to what the...

The right BIOS Programmer - The right software (HP Elitebook 820 G1, 840 G2) no soldering, EC, DMI, ME
      by STKR123
      Greetings badcaps community,

I havent done this for a long time and want to start it all again, after some evil and annyoing illness.
So I apologize in advance, if some phrases might sound a bit like gibberish or illogical to you.

Im trying my best to fully describe what I plan to achieve and hope I was choosing the right sub-forum for my new adventure.

      I have a Elitebook 820 G1 and a Elitebook 840 G2 here.

These ask for a password when entering the BIOS, but boot just fine from the internal SSD.

      I learned that desoldering...

motherboard model: DA0X8BMB6F0 rev F and
      BIOS CHIP model: 25B127DSIG BIOS

So I don't know which version should i choose if I used the test clip cable?
if I choose the wrong option, can it make damage to the chip or to one of the laptops while I used the test clip cable? because I have no experience in soldering....

      RT809H Programmer Firmware Corrupted
      by Teeheeze
This is a shot in the dark, but I was just using my RT809H programmer and it got stuck in a certain state so I power cycled it. Now, the device LED just flashes quickly and does not connect to the software. I've tried to update the BIOS of it and it fails. I went so far as to remove the ROM from the programmer itself but it's some weird chip (I believe ATMEL, but I can't find any datasheet on it) so I've been unable to read the BIN from it w/ my other programmer. Chip has ATMLHC4C56BM CN written on it (I think). I'll upload an image. I have the programmer's BIN ready to program it manually. Anyone...

      by hasel17
So I am trying to repair broken thunderbolt FW on X1 Yoga Gen 2. The EEPROM chip is WINBOND 25Q80DVNIG. I already do a back-up and erase. But when I try to wrote new FW, it was successfull, but when I tried to read it, it still blank. when I try to do a blank check, it gave me instant error in address 0. I already tried two CH341A, already did the 3.3v fix mod, using AsProgrammer, NeoProgrammer, Colibri, and CH341A 1.29. But the problem still occurred. What I did wrong here? Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance. Here is the log in Colibri :
