I have some issues with my HP pavillion 15 eh1815nd.
It doesn't wanna power on anymore, when i click the start button it briefly turns white, then the light goes off again.
The charge light is indicating that it's charging when i plug it in.
I did some tests accross the board, and found 2 (coils?) near the CPU, one of the small (chips?) next to the bottom coil seems to get unusually hot, and the coil shows quite a lower resistance then the coil above.
Most/all capacitors next to, and below the bottom coil seem to be connected to ground on both sides, this is not the case for the top coil.
Test results:
Top coil, ground to coil > 120ohms
Bottom coil, ground to coil > 41.8ohms
I will include some pictures of the affected presumebly coils, and surrounding area.
Would anyone be able to offer me a hand? i am still quite new to this stuff, so please correct any mistakes i might have made explaining/testing this issue.
