Dell Alienware X17 R1 - Power Rail Failure

I have a Dell gaming laptop here with a blink code of 3 red, 5 blue (power rail failure). 3V and 5V are present, but 1.8V is missing. I looked at PU1801 according to the schematic, and it's not receiving an enable signal. Any ideas where to check next? I think that signal comes from the PCH.

No obvious shorts under thermal (or probed), damaged components, liquid, etc.

    Board: LA-K472P

1.8V will come up in S0 stage as per schematic. Refer to pg3 of schematic and see all the rails listed in power plane.
Only 3V/5V/1.0V should be present in standby on adapter.

I wasn't able to find +1VALW or +1V_PRIM anywhere else on the schematic. I found where 1.05V is generated, is that the 1V that should be on? I checked the IC that generates 1.05V and no enable signal there.

Dell Alienware M15 R4 2 Red 7 Blue Display Failure
        by sikocan
        Laptop model: Dell Alienware M15 R4 S/T: 346w5j3
        Motherboard model: LA-K741P REV 1.0

        Problem description:
Turns on with error code on the LED light: 2 Red. 7 Blue. Indicating Display Failure.

Following attempts are made at repairing:
        1. Replace LVDS cable
        2. Replace LVDS connector on motherboard, 3 times.
        3. Replace LCD screen with same 300Hz version + 240Hz version
        4. Power on with battery alone or DC jack
        5. Checked Voltages on the LVDS connector with and without screen connected, it was pretty much the same.

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
        by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

Dell 9310 Memory or RAM (Random-Access Memory) failure (2,4)
        by puccovelli
Hi all, I hope this is the right place to post.

I'm having a problem with a Dell 9310 which is posting 2 orange, 4 white lights on startup (hangs on Dell BIOS logo). The service manual says its a RAM failure.

I've taken the motherboard out and noticed that one of what looks like an SMA 0805 resistor has blown (see photo). The board is an LA-J144P Rev 2.0(A01).

1] Could someone confirm what the component that has blow actually is (and where I could get another from).
2] Whether this component is likely to cause the RAM failure issue, and if replacing...

        Dell Precision 5520 / LA-E331P r2.0 starting into CPU-failure
        by PeteH
        Hi everyone,

        I have here a broken Dell Precision 5520 / LA-E331P r2.0 to play with
I found the schematics for r1.0, but not for r2.0.

        The situation
        - the laptop turns on, but the screen stays black -> the dell diag-LED shows the blink pattern for "CPU failure"
        - the voltages close to the CPU stay at low
        - I don't see any hotspots on the PCB (thermal imaging camera)
        - some spots/areas on the PCB indicate some kind of liquid "damage"

Before I start digging though 70+ pages of schematics, maybe somebody...
