Where do repair shops buy MB replacement batteries?

Order my parts from mobilesentrix.com and iPhone batteries have been excellent. Recently got 3x bad A1534 (2015) batteries. All would work until ~30-40+% and drop to < 10% instantly. Typical sign of cheap batteries.

Perhaps the less popular A1534 model's aftermarket batteries are more source limited. Just find it surprising quality from mobilesentrix (usually fairly high quality aftermarket parts) have been so poor.

BTW, this isn't the only defective parts I've had from mobilesentrix. Amongst others including iPad Air touch screen and A1989 touch bar (display was messed up). But even so, must better than ordering from ebay/amazon.

Where do pro shops order their MB batteries? And in particular for 2015 A1534. Thanks

Return the batteries. They (MobileSentrix) will take them back.

Met far too many vendors in HK during my visit last October. DEJI is one that comes to mind that claims to be a high quality vendor. Not sure if they offer batteries for macbook but you can ask.

Ironically - met a few that claim they build the Ampsentrix brand for MobileSentrix but they do not.

This is Sammi from Shenzhen Huidafa Technology Co., Ltd (DEJI factory).

This is our auto-production machine. And we have two auto-production lines for iPhone battery, which can produce 300K pieces batteries per day.

Iphone battery cell brand: Only used: ATL (original batteries for Apple batteries), Amprius, JX The cell cycle time is long over 500 times, other poor batteries only 300times or less, then the battery drop fast, can't use long time.

I'll ping DEJI although their online store ( link ) + website shows only mobile phone batteries and no laptops.

Ampsentrix cost is on par with cheapest stuff on ebay+amazon yet quality is excellent. I've used probably 20x now. Both complete batteries and cores requiring welding to the BMS. I guess they must have found the high quality supplier

MobileSentrix MB batteries don't have any of their branding. Likely just the same off the shelf generics thats on ebay/amazon. Couple of A1502s were good but A1534 has been poor. I guess these are low volume compared to iPhone batteries and A1534 volume must be the lowest amongst MB*s.

The company that claimed to be THE supplier to them was going under the 'Sunshine' brand. They had a huge 'Ampsentrix' backdrop and were very nervous when I mentioned MobileSentrix. Upon my return, the local branch stated that Sunshine is not their supplier.

Being a 'hazardous' category device, only select couriers can handle batteries from overseas. Keep this in mind but the vendor will know all of the details. We are reviewing assorted batteries for a home automation line of products and somewhat in the same boat. Considering to use iphone batteries since they are relatively low cost; popular; have the ability to offer enough current and can be easily replaced if needed.

Interesting to use phone batteries for home automation. I own a 2013 Tesla Model S and have done repair of these packs with 7k 18650 cells. Let's just say water + electricity don't mix for a battery system that operates and may even live outside in humid/rainy weather. Anyway, you may find it interesting if your system have sufficient interior air volume that require air equalization (at least you won't have altitude change but will have temp change) Here is my post on post moisture failure of this battery pack.

Oh and if you need liquid cooling (probably not) there are a whole list of designs to avoid from all the early EV pack designs. Ford Focus decided to connect the coolant hoses without accounting for residual outgassing and module expansion resulting in leaks when that happens.. yikes haha.

            Hello, all.

            Cyberpower Battery Backup Unit.

I bought two new ML18-12 batteries through Amazon (They have already refunded my money for the two batteries as we thought the batteries might have been bad.)
When I got them in, they were not fully charged. I connected them to the UPS and waited 24 hours before connecting any networking equipment.
In parallel, they read 24v, but within 24 hours, the meter on the front of the unit dropped from 4 to 3 bars on the battery charge indicator.
Checking the voltage, it was down to 22v.
            I quickly removed everything...

HP Laptop TPN-C125 replacement batteries will not charge after 12 months
            by dicky96
I got four replacement batteries for these HP laptops about a year ago. The originals would not charge, and these replacements have now gone the same way.

I'm not sure what the expected life of a laptop battery is but I woud have thought they would last longer than that

I now need to order four more batteries. Possibly these replacement ones were now good? The owner does not mind paying a bit more for originals or good compatible batteries that last longer

The top one is the original

            Any ideas?
            Cheers...

Fixing the Charge Circuit of the Batteries of the DC Motor
            by Astonished
            Hi friends of electronics

What you see in the video and pictures attached is the circuit for charging the batteries of a DC motor.

The problem is that this circuit cannot charge the batteries (3 1800mAH NiMH batteries) any more. When the circuit was OK, its green LEDs lit up one at a time to show that the batteries have charged more. But now that the circuit is flawed, LEDs light up as you see in the video and at the same time successive beeps are heard.

Please help me fix this circuit.

Macbook Air M2 A2681 Kernel panics after screen replacement
            by reformatt
Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...

DIY: Modified smart charger for all types of batteries
            by dbuergi
            Hi all,

sometimes i'm in need of a charger / tester for very small batteries and even if my multimeter doesn't show anything there is a chance that a smart charger helps to revieve. I'm happy with my Keenstone smartcharger and i made a small mod just to use it with smaller batteries like in smartwatches or even camera batteries with special contacts.

Soldering wires on the charger contacts and using needles as probes. I covered both with a shrink hose with integrated solder.
My first work was to bring my Samsung watch battery back to life with was not recognized...
