    HP DV7: DA0UT1MB6E1 Lift Pad



    Im reballing this board and got a lift pad. Can anyone tell me if it's ground? Or point me to a schematic to know what to do.

    if u have onboard graphics you dont need it .if u have discrete graphics u should remake trace cuz it is used for dedicated chip.
    m1 pin is used for pci-e lane

      it appears it is connected no the via hole near to " N " word

        Its the only gpu. What you mean by "remake trace"?

          that chip is the northbrige RS780m with incorporated graphics.
          just solder the chip without that pin because in your board model it is NOT used
