Lenovo Ideapad L340-17IHR # Serial number update

Hi there

After a failed repair, I just simply bought a new motherboard from china. It is identical, it is working.
However things like mtm, serial number, and model number are not set. I already tried a couple "lenovo golden keys" but non of them had acces to "smi(?) interface", so the informations are remained unchanged.
Does anyone knows a working solution for this particular laptop?

Transplant the bios chip from the old board ? If the information is in it / DMI area, it should carry over to the new board.

[Help Please!] Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen4 Twist-Help Needed with Restoring Serial Number and Product ID

I have recently purchased a Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen4 Twist with Dual Screen. Here are the links for the product information:

However, somehow the serial number and the product name is no longer showing under the BIOS, Windows 11 or Lenovo Vantage.

Strangely the laptop's under cover does not show any information about the Make, Model, Type or Serial Number (No sign of tampering but no labels etc...). I am not sure what to do.
I do not have access to the original box...

Lenovo Thinkbook 16P G2 ACH - BIOS Serial number missing

Hi all,

I got a Lenovo Thinkbook 16P G2 ACH on the bench with a botched BIOS (somehow my client blanked it). I restored the laptop and got it up and running with original BIOS from Lenovo Support website.
My problem is now that the machine details are missing in the BIOS (Serial Number, MTM, etc.)
I tried to write the details with the Lenovo Uone Tool but had now luck. It is giving me an error: "ERROR: Locate protocol with LenovoEeprom, Status=[e]. EEPROM fail when reading or writing data."
I am now asking here for help if anyone knows how to do this in...

Fixed: Lenovo P14s Gen 1 (type 20Y1, 20Y2) Laptop (ThinkPad) bricked by a withdrawn BIOS update (r1buj82w)

Hi!
Went dumpster-diving and found a bricked Lenovo P14S in trash, few weeks earlier. Symptoms - no screen, no POST, no beep, just keyboard LEDs flashing on powerup. Mute button+LED was responding though, and the display self-test was still working (via the key combo Ctrl+Fn+Power held for some seconds, see the Service manual).

Incidentally, Windows 11 have recently started auto-flashing computer BIOS in our region. Even more suspiciously, Lenovo has released a BIOS update just few days before the PC was trashed. About a week later, the BIOS update image has been oficially marked...
