Run Apple Diagnostics. List the detected errors.

Thanks so much Mon2.I will check the link and I wonder if you have the board view of this Mac M1? I have try to find one on the forum but don't work on my PD board view..I believe is for windows and I use Mac.Thanks Again

I did run the Apple diagnostics and tells me that there is a issue with the fan.I need to mention that the water did touch the usb-c connector and I did replace turns on without any issues but the fan is my main problem.

I did replace this cap and the 621371 component. When I did remove the component the oxidation did take a one side of the trace and did scrape and work the points and use another component from a donor...but still rapid fan spin.I did try another flex cable, trackpad and same result. The Mac like I mention powers and works normal but the fans running like crazy,

Share a pic of the fan connector that is driving this fan. If there is a mating issue, the fan will be in hyper mode. If there is a fan sensing issue on the speed feedback, the fan will be in put into hyper mode.

Can you run the Mac app that can control the fan speed to confirm this is possible with your fan? It is a freeware tool that I know we use at our shop.

I believe it is this one but can confirm in the next day or so. You can test the free version.

A1466 Macbook Air (Liquid damage repair)
                      by mon2
Hi. Recently serviced a damaged A1466 Macbook Air. Thought to post the issues and resolution for each.

Macbook AIR Model A1466 Diagnostic 09-01-2021

Issue: Liquid damaged (beer spill) Macbook AIR will not power up.

                      Problems & Resolutions

                      1) Attached Apple magsafe power adapter. No green / no orange light. This confirms the absence of the PP3V42_G3H voltage rail. The PP3V42_G3H rail is the primary voltage rail necessary to communicate with the magsafe power adapter to report the green or orange light status to the end user....

MacBook Pro 16 M1 Pro Liquid Damage (820-02100)
                      by mitchw
Got a MacBook Pro M1 Pro 16'' to rescue immediately after liquid accident - I got it in less than 30 minutes after the spill.
It got spilled from behind when the laptop was closed. It mostly affected the rear of the mainboard and the bottom of the LCD.

I quickly took it apart and washed the liquid residue off the mainboard.
The area around the UP800 had some light corrosion, but it just washed away with some IPA. Other areas looked undamaged.

The mainboard got a thorough cleaning, as did the top case and LCD connectors / cables.

                      Now the laptop...

a2338 2020 Macbook Pro liquid damaged won't turn on- weird issue
                      by bigbadbios
                      Hi,
I am trying to fix this liquid damaged 2020 Macbook pro and I noticed something weird.
When I push on/around the renesas 501cr0b IC, which appears to be a clock generator/ multiplier, If I apply lot of pressure, the device will reach 19.9 volts and seems to be trying to work.
I have thoroughly reflowed that area and completely removed that chip (there was some liquid stain in that area) but no help. I have just 5v 0a unless I apply the pressure.
Your help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

MacBook Pro 13inch 2017mid (A1706 820-00923-A) - liquid damage - USBC and Display short circuit
                      by rilley
                      Hello everyone,
I am new into this, sorry to post it here. I want to make this as a pet hobby project, as this mac is not urgent.

                      I have (Macbook Pro 13inch 2017mid) A1706 820-00923-A

My mac had liquid damage a long time ago, the connector from J8500 is damaged on pin 46 (PP5V_S0_ALSCAM_F), I guess the LCD/display panel is in short circuit, as I saw the connector from the LCD burned as well.

And the resistor L4004 is literally burned.

From what I see from the schematics, it does not affect any other rails, only the connection to the display...

                      MACBOOK A2159 820-01598 FAN SPEED
                      by PITERPENY
Hello everyone. It works very slowly and the fan spins very fast. The touchpad was flooded. I replaced it but the MacBook is still very slow and the fan spins at high speed. Resetting and bypassing SMС does not help! Please tell me what to look for.
