a2337 Power on but does not charge

    Hello everyone

    It's been a while since I had a problem

The 820-02016 model is the MacBook Air m1 model.

At first it seemed like the problem was caused by flooding, but someone cleaned it thoroughly.

I checked and when I plug in the charger, the meter shows 5v and loops. It shows 0.15 amps and drops to 0

The power appears to turn on when a battery with remaining charge is pre-assembled.
When the 12v line is pulsed, it drops from 12v to 8v to 6v and then rises to 12v again.

Likewise, the 5V line drops to 4V and then rises to 5V.

I tried replacing uc300, up800, and u5700, but the symptoms are the same.

There are no visible shorts and no signs of corrosion or water damage.

Do you guys have any good ideas??

When it turns on with the pre-charged battery, do you see the backlight on and logo? Any chime? Fanspin?

      hello sir

Because it was inspected in a pre-assembled state, everything could not be checked perfectly, but the screen came on.
Also, when I plug in the charger in the current state, there is a response to pressing the trackpad.

troubleshooting microsoft surface pro 4 no power no led charge light
        by ipatch
hello, i have been sitting on some microsoft surface pro 4 tablets for a while now. i was originally tasked with replacing the battery in one of the tablets, and ended breaking the screen and logic board in the process. decided to buy another tablet with the same specs. got that screen off successfully of the second tablet. the logic board appeared good, but i guess i shorted something out in the installation process of the logic which i've read is a common issue if there is no barrier between the logic board and battery pins. all that said, i ate costs of the repair and have...

Hi there guys. This is my first post on this forum and my first attemp to fix a problematic board. Ill give you a litle pre history of the device. The Macbook was powering on but it wasnt charging (it was showing an X sign on the battery icon) i went to my local apple authorised repair centre and they told me that they tried with a new battery and charging port but the issue was still there so they said its a board issue. The laptop belongs to my partner and she already ordered a new one but she considers the data gone on this one. I want to try my best to fix it and surprise her. The laptop at...

Acer a515-43 low battery charge voltage
        by ruletero
        Hi

        Acer A515-43
        LA-H801P

Fail: Does not charge battery, has low voltaje on connector.

Laptop didn't want to turn on, only charge led blinked.

I found PQB5 (mosfet high battery charger) in short, voltaje in +12.6V_BATT was 19 v ...

I changed it, changed PQB6 too and now battery charger voltage is 4.4V but battery is 3 cell, 11.25v, then is very low to charging.

Laptop turns on without battery and works fine, but with battery turns on and turns off inmediately, I suspect battery bad but I don't know...

Charge a L19D3PDA battery externally from the laptop
        by Klevjetack
Is there a way to externally charge a L19D3PDA battery from the laptop. I have a broken charging port on my laptop and am trying to find a way to charge the battery for it. I have been doing some research and I have found that there is a module, TP4056, that can be used to charge Li-ion batteries. It says it is used to charge single cell Li-ion batteries. The L19D3PDA battery is a three cell battery. Is it possible to use the module to charge my battery and it would just be very slow? Or would that be a bad idea. Is there a different kind of module I can use to charge my Li-ion three cell battery?...

How can I charge that battery pack?
        by razenxd
        Hello,
it's not a laptop/desktop related question but I figured that someone here will have the right knowledge.
At work we use a few Aldebaran(now Softbank/United Robotics group) Nao Robots which they use some custom 6S li-on battery packs.
Nao robots tends to draw from the battery even if they are shut down, and the BMS tends to be a little aggresive, if the pack stays on a turned off robot for 3 months it's gonna lock and will refuse to charge.

Now, I have noticed a few things.
The "dead" battery, while connected to charger and NOT Charging will...
