    Source To Buy Motherboard Chip

    Post a pic of the bottom side of this part. If this part has only 2 solder legs, it is a tantalum capacitor @ 15 mF (15 microfarads). Purchase the highest voltage rated part for this body size and you should be ok. Do you have any reference on the logic board or voltage rail used for this component ?

      Yeah. I can send a picture. So the one that i bought should be ok? I bought one that has the right capacitance but the resistance is very wrong and i wasnt sure if that would cause issues.

          Looks like aluminum polymer, not tantalum. Also that's 15 µF not mF.

            Yeah sounds right. Im just wondering how i can find this one or a similar one. I bought a 15uf tantalum one but the resistance is different so i didnt want to mess anytning up but putting yhat on the board.
