Hi Guys, I have a Dell XPS 13” laptop that I’m trying to repair. If I look at the board with a thermal cam. The following component “3W=Q2W” which looks like a voltage regulator is getting very hot. So my question is. Can I swop it out with this one. “K2L31”? I can’t seem to find any data sheets. Please see pics for reference. Thanks for any help or advice.

See attached. Part reference is PU202.
Part # RT9069-33GB
https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/d...9-33GB/5270908
You should be able to source replacements from other vendors. Is a simple 3v3 LDO. Confirm the pinout and max current support against the original by Richtek.

First you should remove the part and measure resistance to GND on output pin before proceeding for replacement.Comment

Hi. No, the 2 parts are not the same.
The original component on the board is a 3v3 LDO which is capable of accepting a rather high voltage as the input and output the 3v3 voltage rail.
The component you have with the 'K2' prefix is a USB load switch which acts like a solid state relay. The reference datasheet for the 'K2' component is available here:

BV for XPS9360? Yes, have it but is marked as 'LA-D841P'. It was used to identify the PU202 component. Will post it in the schematic forum once at the office if still of interest. The LA-D841P BV file may already be available in the schematic forum.Comment

by David StroeI am trying to repair my monitor that shows image but the backlight is not turning on. I think either the power supply is not working properly or the LED strip is failing, which seems unlikely (the whole strip is off).
I really need help in finding the data sheets for this monitor's boards. The data sheets I need are for the following boards:
Power Supply: 715GA907-P03-000-001S and 715GA721-P01-000-0H4K
Main Board: 715G9500-M0C-B00-005K
T-CON Board: 19Y_270_EU3MQ_SR_V02_HF
If someone could please provide any of these data sheets, it would be awesome....-

by speaktorobSo a while back, to deal with the fan noise of the old blower style shrouds on the reference cards, I chucked it and installed the monster that is a Raijintek MORPHEUS 8069, with a couple Noctuas on it. Did the job but quite unwieldy tbh.
Anyone know which boards would have a compatible shroud for it? I know the EVGA used the reference board but wondering if any other manufacturers did. I want to put something sensible back on it, but I'm having a hard time getting hold of even a faulty reference board for a reasonable price.-

by RaulnnCan you clean the internal sheets of a tv? I have a 58-inch TV and I don't know if it's worth cleaning the sheets. I have seen that it has dirt on the sheets and the leds are blown. I don't know if they look good when you clean the sheets. Thanks in advance.

by RhorkHello,
I would like to know the reference of a QFN-20 because the reference marked on the chip does not give anything...
PC Reference : HP Pavilion - 15-cs0006nf
Motherboard : DA0G7BMB6D0 rev D
Reference marked on the chip: AWVAIL
Type : QFN-20
I didn't find a boardview or repair schematics
Thanks in advance... -
by RickkapI'm reaching out to see if anyone has done a Wifi UL000 swop from the same donnor board on an M1 A2338 Macbook Pro or if it is possible to do.
If it is possible what needs to be replaced as i cannot find the rom chips to go with it as mentioned on this page:
