Macbook Pro M1 13" NO display PP3V3_S2 issues

    Hi peops

Ok I find myself on here once again trying to find a solution to my issue/problems with this device, basically I reckon I messed it up but trying to correct this issue.

Bascially device was working fine however I stupidly in my complete ignorance was putting back together and some how connected an M2 TRACKPAD which are clearly not compatiable. After I realised what I did the damage was done NO DISPLAY / No Keyboard caps lock light so I am like WTF I have i done idiot !!!!

After some scratching around I did some measuring and found that PP3V3_S2 connections where shorted to ground, having removed most of these components to further make life difficult for myself I am left still puzzled and wondering what could of blown/broke.

The strange thing is even with all the corresponding PP3V3_S2 components removed I still have a short and in particular UT105 Pin 3 is still shorted to GND !!

Well hope someone can save me from this mess apologies I have no measurements per say just probing here and there hoping for the best LOL

    Thanx in advance OXY

What is the 820-**** of your logic board?

What is the voltage and current draw on your usb type C meter when connected to this logic board?

      Hi thanx for the response

      Board is 820- 2020 which is m1 13"

Voltage from the meter now just bare board is

      5.11v
      0.001A
      00005mA0000

was booting and that before I decided to remove components.
was wondering if the source of the problem was u8100 I believe this controls the voltages.

Poss fighting a losing battle here though I do recall a electrical burn smell after realising what I had done such a fool.
we live an learn I suppose hopefully!

      Thanks again Oxy

The current draw is @ ~1 mA which is extremely low.

What is the voltage to ground of PPDCIN_USBC_AON ?

Measured PPDCIN_USBC_AON and coming out on meter as 5.14v

Also note that CC721 PPBUS_AON_3V3S2_VIN_ISNS is shorted to ground in continuity mode

          Thanx Oxy

Ok so bit the bullet an removed u8100 as found other shorts around the WIFI chip, of course all shorts gone typical.
So got plenty of spare boards that are MDM so know they work will source the stencil and use a donor thanks for you help much appreciated 🙏
