HI,

Friends i have a question

what is the maximum time required to to reflow a BGA chip with hot air gun

2000W/300°C and witch solder paste is best for reflow???

300? you will make popcorn
200-230 max and pre-heater

200-230 is ok for tin with lead. The bga chips and systems delivered the last years is lead free (ROHS) . the temp for that is only 185 max. Or is it the other way around? ??
be carefull and check what you have

thanks for answer i know that 230 and 250°C temperature is gud. actually above in the post

i write the specification of hot air gun that i have (2000W/300°C)

with this hot air gun solder melt in 20 second . so how much time is good for reflow a bga chip...

no no no
in reflow or reballing you need to do it in progres.
same think like in BGA station you do it with hot air station

only on low air lvl of spread

per heat at ~230c distance = 15cm

2-3 mint ok ...... for a PCH OR GPU

preheat + temp monitor with thermocouples, otherwise you will destroy all.
