    Hp g62 video problem

    Hi all,
    that notebook have black screen after windows boot, it's possible to heard windows boot sound.

    I have reballed graphic ic 3 months ago for same issue and now returned, any suggestion?

      in normal mode after win7 boot logo the screen becomes black

          yes, seem like that.
          i done System Tuneup and Short DST: FAILED
          maybe is an HDD problem...i need to try with new HDD

            Maybe the graphic ic again. Sometimes I have this kind of problems, the laptop only shows image stable in the BIOS, but if I try to boot Windows, it turn off. Can you try replace the graphic ic?

                well i think the problem when load driver, i am able to see picture untill boot like picture attacched

                    still have not solved the problem...
                    have installed the right graphic driver but dont work... any help?

                      the graphic IC installed is ATI 216-0774009, already reballed

                        dont work on the bga, it is just driver. Download switchable graphics driver, suitable for your laptop.Not the single drivers for both. Best one is from the manufacturer web site of your laptop. Load bios defaults, then install the switchable graphics driver. it should fix.

                          i disabled ATI driver (not unistalled) and seem work.
