How do you check if its missing? "check the ICH/PCH/Southbridge".
whats the condition of missing?
No voltage only if adapter its in without pressing power button?

1. I am suggesting mtherana to measure the voltages across the capacitors. We are expecting 3.3v, 5v, 1.8v/1.5v, 1.05v, etc. If one of those is missing, he should check the corresponding regulators.
