    emachine hangs-on E-logo

    hello...please help me..i have a emachine e727 hangs on E-logo only.. ..i cant access the bios,,,when i press f2 it just says ''Please Wait'' and cant enter bios..even f8 for safe mode i cant access..

    already done:

    replaced Memory - same
    replaced Processor - same
    removed removable parts...HDD,ODD,WIFI, etc
    reseted Cmos Battery and short..
    removed Cmos and Bios IC
    reseated Mosfet ICs
    REflowed Video Chips ''slight''
    drained the board for 1 day

    BUT no LUCK..please helppp
    and Thanks n advanced......

      install another good hdd and try.

          in addition to masud statement...

          if you have no extra hard disk, just remove the hard disk and test if you can enter bios settings. if u r able to do so, replace hard disk.

                              No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

                                  desolder flash chip and program it with an eprom programmer.

                                          i dont understand what you mean. just desolder it. search internet for a simple parallel port programmer for 8 pin sop serial eeprom. it is just a couple of wires and resistors, i remember i've already shared one in an earlier post.

                                              Buy the willem eprom programmer, its cheap and works with almost all chips. Iam using it every day it has saved me a lot of troubles.

                                                          I have a ThinkPad T470 that will not boot when the CMOS battery is plugged in.
                                                          With only the fan, a RAM module and a USB-C monitor attached, but no CMOS battery, it starts up normally, i.e. after about 90 seconds and two reboots, it stops with a message to press F1 to enter date & time.
                                                          If the power is switched off and a CMOS battery is inserted, it restarts as described above. However, after switching it off and on again, it does not turn on. It draws almost no current and shows no sign of life.
                                                          I used a different CMOS battery and checked the components around the battery...

                                                          Hello everyone, I have this DELL computer. problem when turning on it does not show an image. Diagnostic LED indicates CMOS battery failure. I measure the battery and 3v is fine. When turned on with battery CMOS consumption of 240mA. By removing the CMOS battery it can consume 800mA and sometimes gives an image when it wants.
