DV1000 motherboard lcd cable smd connector

Can anyone tell me what this part is called? Pic attached.

I can get a broken motherboard from ebay for $10 shipped, so that may be the least expensive option, but wanted to check here first.

Also desoldering suggestions are welcome. I dont have a hot air station. My thru-hole desoldering gun wouldnt work in any way conceivable to me. What about ChipQik, any good experiences?

No, it is the motherboard connection for the lcd cable.

you realy need at least an hot air unit to remove and replace this socket and some practice before hand.
