Assistance needed identifying some components

Hi I have a DV9000 that was not charging battery properly and battery was draining very quickly (tried 3 differnt batteries) then would not power up I found this component damaged and I suspect a few more I am unable to locate proper schematic.

The laptop is an DV9000 intel processor, motherboard Pn is: 434660-01 7F0694
Any help would be much appreciated.

This is mosfet FDS6679AZ. Replacement can be IRF7306 . Also check PQ50 that can be shorted.

Thanks for the info I replaced PQ52 and also found pq47/pd20 replaced pq47.
Still no leds/fan or power on.

Checked pq50 as you suggested thats ok. Done a quick check and found pq33 short so removed it short still there so removed pc33 pc34 (ps32 is not on the board) short still there.

So tryn to track down this +1.05v short line

A bench supply makes this easy. Once you've found all the items that appear shorted you put a current through them. Small capacitor polarity is often not marked so minus always goes on a known ground so you don't accidentally reverse voltage and plus gets probed onto a shorted part. It takes a bit of experimentation to tell the difference between a ground and a shorted part. Slowly ramp up the current. If there's a short the voltage will stay very low and the current will go up fast. Feel around to all the parts that were shorted. The shorted one will get hot.

If the voltage goes way up while the current stays low then it's not a short but a very low resistance part performing properly. Don't let the voltage go too high (above 1 volt) to avoid damaging multi voltage chips. Try a different shorted part.
