    dell Alienware M17 R3 power problem

    Hi friends
    i have a problem with dell Alienware M17 R3
    MB :LA-J521P
    My problem is +DC_IN_SS cannot pass from pq15

    I need to know how pq15 gate work
    But when i connect type c charge 20v pass from prb1
    so i need someone to explain this circuit to me

      laptop got bricked (freeze at dell logo) i managed to unbrick it but now am facing a problem...... let me explain what and how it happened.

      the brick happened when i was installing win 10 using usb.
      used rufus and officia microsoft.iso
      it finished copying files from usb...

      Hello:

      I have both these laptops that appeared to have the same fault so I thought I would have a go at replacing the PCH as something to learn, they both are using the same PCH.


      I started on the ACER:

      Up on connecting power no signs of life but current is consumed from the bench power supply and the PCH is hot.
      All the caps on the top of the PCH are showing 0 ohms and the 3.3v rail is shorted.

      I followed the videos from Sorin, Electronics Repair School on Youtube heating from the bottom to install. I practised on around 10 scrap...

      Hello everyone! I'm having a problem with the BIOS of a Dell PP35L motherboard (DA0RM5MB8E0 Rev:E Y509R Rev:A00). It powers on, beeps 5 times, then 6 times, but there's no display. The problem is that it has two 16MB BIOS files, and all the ones I found online are 1MB and 4MB. I flashed them anyway, but with those BIOS files, the fan doesn't even turn on.       Hello, I have a Dell 15R-5521, with the problem that the Ctrl, Alt, Shitf and Num Lock keys do not work, I tested the keyboard with a keyboard tester and it is functional, I also got another new keyboard and the computer has the same problem with the same keys. Check continuity between the ZIF connector from the keyboard to the KBC and all pins are correct. I cleaned the ZIF connector and the KBC and I still have the same problem. I reinstalled windows just in case, and it didn't work. I updated the BIOS to the latest version A16 and there were no changes.
