MacBook Air M1 reset user password

So ... MacBook Air M1 A2337, entered in Recovery, connected to net, open Terminal -resetpassword, asked to deactivate Mac, deactivated then I was able to set another password. After restart, it asked to activate Mac by selecting admin user and type password but typing new password it doesn't work.
I know I can erase Mac and reinstall but client wants to save some files - I know him, is his own laptop brought from shop, he has invoice and all, Apple client service says it can't be done if he didn't save files in iCloud.
Any help will be much appreciated, thank you!

LE: he did a stupid thing removing it from cloud - he wants to sell it, that's why he did it - otherwise it should be activated using cloud credentials.

    by ritalo
    Hello,

    I have a MacBook Air 13 inches 2014.

I have set a EFI password and I can't remember it : now I want to reinstall macOS and I can't because the MacBook is asking for the password.

I know how to remove the password with a usb programmer.
I plug the usb programmer to the motherboard and to my pc with usb, I read the EFI and I save it to a file.

Then I have to find this value in the file : $SVS because it indicate where is the password.

But I can't find the value.

Macbook air 2019 1932 keyboard not working - no password
    by Featurea
    Hi,

I bought macbook air 2019 1932 after water damage and managed to turn it on, but keyboard is not working. After plugging it in, it is starting automatically, start button not working. Unfortunatelly there is an Apple account with password, seller told me that he don't know the password so I need to erase whole hard disk, which is not so bad, but the problem is I have to go to OS recovery, but I can't without working keyboard. I tried to do this by DELL hub and connected keyboard, but it is connecting too late to react. So I have two questions:
    1. It this normal that...

820-2914-B Macbook EFI reset to wipe password, now no power??
    by drnict61
Greetings! I got a 17" Macbook Pro that I tried resetting the EFI password on. The computer still turned on and charged.

I was able to read and verify three dumps from the EFI chip, then I modified it removing the two $SVS sections and flashed it to the chip successfully.

Now the laptop won't show any lights on the charger, or the battery status lights, and nothing happens when I try to turn it on.

I did not remove the EFI chip from the board when doing my work. I followed this guide: Mac EFI Password Removal (Github)

    What did I do : ( What...
