Hi,
I bought macbook air 2019 1932 after water damage and managed to turn it on, but keyboard is not working. After plugging it in, it is starting automatically, start button not working. Unfortunatelly there is an Apple account with password, seller told me that he don't know the password so I need to erase whole hard disk, which is not so bad, but the problem is I have to go to OS recovery, but I can't without working keyboard. I tried to do this by DELL hub and connected keyboard, but it is connecting too late to react. So I have two questions:
1. It this normal that macbook is turning on just by plugging it into current?
2. Is there any chance to erase hard disk and password without working built-in keyboard? (e.g. with external keyboard but connected directly to macbook not by Dell hub (I need to buy USB-A->USB-C adapter))
3. Is there a chance that it will be working without this password after hard disk erasing or I just lost some money because I can't got this password?
