There is no removable SSD disk, so I can't check that. I also don't have another macbook so DFU Restore is not an option for me also... -

Ok, so I managed to do USB installer on other macbook, but it is still bootlooping after trying to boot from USB
Any other ideas what should be checked? Now I think this is hardware issue...

I tried to do bootable USB with MacOS, but I have only windows, so managed only to do EFI boot from OpenCore, which is seen by macbook as at the picture, but after choosing this boot device it is switching off and going bach to boot loop... Hi,
once again I am here with problems with my macbook. After successful repair, when everything was working fine, I took my macbook air to the airport and flight with it in carry-on baggage. Firstly after landing it was working fine, but suddenly it shuted down and started bootlooping to the apple sign. I managed to run it normally throught SMC reset, but problem was going back untill SMC reset stopped working. Now Macbook is bootlooping in normal start, I can't go to recovery, I tried internet recovery, but after fully loaded download bar it switches off.

2. I started to check them and all of them was about 12.5kohm, but it gives me idea to check resistance of PPBUS_G3H, what turns out is shorted to GND...
It is now working with another audio board (old one, it turns out that new one has shorted capacitor...) Now I don't have sound in right speaker, but probably it is because on wrongly ironed connector... I can see that with board all of I2C signals has 11.5kohm but R_SDA not, so I assume there is a problem.Thanks for your hel...

Hi,
I have macbook air a1932 2018 and it has water damage. Audio connector on motherboard was burned on PPBUS_G3H signal. Without this audio board laptop is working perfectly fine, but of course without sound and touch ID. I changed burned connector, flex cable and audio board. But connecting this all, Mac is not starting, nothing on thermal camera... Do you know what other can be damaged on this signal what can cause this behaviour? Nothing on motherboard looks burned... -

I mesured it with motherboard inside case and I was wrong, 5V is stable, before power button, while laptop is turning on and while it is switching off and after it is switched off. So 5V is not good lead. After laptop is switched off, it wont turn on for some time. After some time it once again is switching on (3 times resetting at the beginning). Then it comes to loading windows (or no bootable device without disk) and then switch off...

But isn't it strange that 5V is 5V before power button? And only after that button it is down to 4V5. Should I change that caps even if there is stable 5V before power button?
To be honest I was thinking about some sensors and switches, maybe temperature sensors or some signals connected with this switch BI SW (sw2).Leave a comment:

PL1602 - 67.5 ohm
PL301 - 5 Mohm

Hi all,
I have Acer Predator Helios 300 with motherboard LA-E911P with GTX1050TI and Core i5 7th gen.
The problem with it is, that after some time it is swithing off without any reason (and without any message), temperatures are OK. Now it is swithing off while windows is loading, so I can't even go there. I checked voltages and 5V is on after plug in, after pushing power button, every voltage is on, but 5V is only 4.5V now. And after some time, laptop is swithing off and the only voltage is 19V on mesurements resistor. (there is no 5V after).

I bought macbook air 2019 1932 after water damage and managed to turn it on, but keyboard is not working. After plugging it in, it is starting automatically, start button not working. Unfortunatelly there is an Apple account with password, seller told me that he don't know the password so I need to erase whole hard disk, which is not so bad, but the problem is I have to go to OS recovery, but I can't without working keyboard. I tried to do this by DELL hub and connected keyboard, but it is connecting too late to react. So I have two questions:

So I replaced PU301,PQ301 and PQ302. Now on PU202 with opened PJ206 I have 13kohm so thats great, but after closing PJ206 it drops to 300ohm... I soldered out U56 and on +5ALW pin I have ~300ohm and on +5vs pin I have 260ohm... Tried to solder out some elements like U8, but no change... Any idea where or how looking for next bad element? After opening PJ206 I found that PU301 is faulty and has short on PQ302 (gate with source). PQ301 has small hole on it, I think it is broken too. Is there a chance that this motherboard will be alive once again? What should I do now? Replace this transistors and PU301?Leave a comment:

Hi all,
I have motherboard nm-a381 from lenovo yoga 3 14, on which there is no short circuit anywhere (but 40ohm on 5V was strange), but when plug in to current, converter PU201 (3.3V) and KBC getting hot. So I replaced both, but resistance on PU202 (converter 5V) is still 40ohm. I have second same motherboard and there resistance is in kohm... I have no idea what to do now and would really appreciate any help. -
