    Quanta G34A Big Trouble

    Hey Guys,
I'm facing a very mysterious Problem, I've got a Motherboard Quanta G34A Which cannot be turned on with charger but it can be turned on with battery. when i connect a faulty but Original battery Laptop Turned on with charger. I've checked all Charging IC PU1 (ISL88750) Voltages, Everything is perfect but when i checked 3/5V Coils there is no voltages. I've checked VIN voltages on PU2 (SY8208B) for 3V IC that is only 8,7 VOlts. So i think VIN is not generating properly. I think VIN should be 19V. Anybody can give me any idea what should i do? I'm uploading Schematic Diagram n BoardView. Please Guys help me out.
    Thnx.
    1 Thing more on CLR (PR2) there're Proper 19V Generating. Which Means PQ1 and PQ2 Working well. ON PQ1 n PQ2 Gate Voltages 25Volts.

NVDC technology is used and hence 8.8V as VIN may be absolutely fine.If its not turning on with charger only, check AD_ID.

      Hey mcplslg123,
Thanks for your reply, But as i written in this thread that Laptop is turning on with battery but not with charger. Can you suggest anything? When i plug in the charger the charging light Glowing but Laptop is not turning on. When i checked 3v/5v Supplies. Those're not present there.

You need to re-read my post#2 and act on that suggestion. I've read your post#1 and accordingly i do know it works on battery but dont on charger.

The ISL88739 & ISL88739AHRZ are a highly versatile combo battery charger
configurable for operating as either a Hybrid Power Boost (HPB)
charger or a Narrow VDC (NVDC) charger, supporting 2-, 3-, or
4-cell batteries. Both configurations allow the battery to work with
the adapter together to supply the system load when it exceeds
the adapter capability, referred to as system Turbo mode. HPB
charger configuration reverse-boosts battery energy to the system
bus to help the adapter provide the system power in Turbo mode.

Dell Inspiron 7567 LA-D993P odd charger issue
          by Johndill
Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron 7567 LA-D993P that I've just got running.
There was corrosion around PU1503 which shorted PC1518 & blew PL1504. (Reference pictures attached)
I've replaced PC1518 & PL1504 & the laptop is now running however I now have another issue.

          Here are the tested scenarios:

          1. With the laptop running on battery, I plug in the 150W charger & the charger shuts off (no LED, protection mode) but the laptop remains running on battery.

          2. With the laptop off, plug in charger (LED says on) & the front charging...

Powersupply has all the voltages - Monitor still no power
          by Capacitorial
          Hello guys,

I have a Philips 240B7QPJEB. The monitor seems completely dead.
I opened it and measured the voltages of the powersupply. I found that a mosfet was dead and replaced it.
On the connector, that goes to the TCON board, all voltages 15-19V and 5V are present.
The small connector on the left of the PSU has two cables with 18V and all the other have 0.2V. It connects on this small connector on the left ontop of the panel. I guess the backlight? Seens fine I guess.
The weird thing is, that the Power LED is powered over the TCON board.
          On The TCON...

This makes the max voltage to the system equal to the max

DELL Alienware 17 R3 (LA-C912P) only work with 120w charger in mode low CPU clock
          by exerion5000
Hello, I received this laptop with the following condition: When I turn it on, it shows the ALIENWARE light and the Alien button lights up, then it does not show an image and it restarts constantly, as the customer had already informed me that the battery was dead, I connected an original charger that I had it for testing, the machine turned on normally and I was able to enter Windows without problems, after a while of testing I noticed that it is very slow (like a Cyrix 425...), and after performing a CPU test the frequency is
below normal, as if it were operating in an extreme energy...
