HP 15S-fq2006np all voltages present but wont boot up

Hi there, I have an hp 15S-fq2006np that had some liquid damage. After cleaning and replaced some resistors and capacitors, the laptop returned to life.
Worked fine. Fresh Thermal paste, ran some stress tests. Prime95 ran for 6 hours straight. Everything seemed ok.
After a couple of hours costumer was playing a game and suddendly the screen went off. Now pressing power button, the power light comes on, all voltages are present but no fan spin, and nothing on screen
CPU doesn't get warm. Changed ram sticks also, but still the same.
Could it be a messed bios? He said nothing was updated.

    Motherboard DA0P5MB38A0 REV:A

    Best Regards

If the CPU doesn't get warm then you're usually missing voltages, so please double check your measurements and even better share them here in relation to the various power rails.

It will be liquid damage you have missed most likely. With the laptop in use, any deterioration from corrosion is accelerated. Did you inspect the board under a microscope? You may also have some crap under a BGA etc. Ultrasonic?

Here are the voltages. Check attached picture
        No BGA was affected

Your CPU isn't powered at all, as already assumed. The 1.8V there are for the PCH FIVR. Measure resistance to GND there and check the Enable for the VRM Controller

Resistance to ground in the Coil with 1,80v is 208,7 ohms, the other two have 55,7ohms

PWM controller is an Intersil 95860HRTZ, cant find Datasheet anywhere

Quanta OP5D schematic and boardview is there on forum. Search for it and that may help you.

This Motherboard is OP5H, pwm controller is not the same

Hello friend, would you be so kind as to say where the schematic of the op5h would be because nothing appears in the search engine. Thank you very much

To my knowledge there is no schematic or boardview for this motherboard yet

RX 5600 XT, all voltages present but doesn't post
                      by LozinMust
                      Hello guys.

I have an RX 5600 XT that was missing vddci, all other voltages were present. The output of the LDO regulator was low (~0.4V) and it was getting hot. I didn't have the same exact IC so I replaced the faulty uP1230 by a GS7162. After this, the voltage on the vddci coil was 1.1V, still the card won't post. Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be at fault? This is my first attempt at fixing AMD cards, so I might be overlooking something.
I leave the photos of the PCB with the voltages and resistances here: https://imgur.com/a/yrD7GWK

                      by privato89
                      Hello everyone,

I'm facing an issue with a HEG-001 motherboard that is unable to complete the Second-Stage Boot. I'd like to start directly with my conclusion, which is the decision to replace the MAX77621AEWI chip, and understand if it could be a correct evaluation.

Before I dive into the process that led me to this decision, I want to mention that I have a fully equipped lab where I can perform any kind of tests.

                      Let's begin:

Following some guides online, I tried to understand how the Boot phase of the Nintendo Switch works, and what are the...

                      Hi,

Im actually trying to find what is going wrong with my sapphire Pulse RX580 8gb... I purchased it used and supposely dead a year ago and found out (thanks internet) that U1000 (And gate sot23-5) was not giving me the high state to the power management IC NCP8122...

At this time, with no spare parts, i decided to put a 1kohm resistor to create the voltage as commented by a guy named Lorkur on this forum (https://*******/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=122873), you ll need to translate it in english.

and voila ! the gpu worked again and i didn't care much since....

Samsung un82ru88000f - Boot loop sort of but can correct with taping of LVDS ribbon
                      by NolesFan
Hello all... TV started boot looping. Opened the back panel and tried to isolate the problem. Just PSB no boot loop. PSB and MB no boot loop. Plug in the LVDS from panel to MB and boot looping starts up. It doesnt matter of order that I plug the LVDS ribbons back in, only 1 and no boot loop but as soon as 2nd one plugs in boot looping. I then noticed a flicker on the screen when I was closing the clip on the harness to the LVDS. Shut the lights off so I can see better, and I noticed as i slowly close it, I will get a picture, but as soon as it clips in, I lose picture and booting happens. So I...
