    A2141 No power 5v .32 Amps

As the listing states, replaced the faulty CD3217 chips on board boot loop is gone, put thermal camera on to see whats going on, T2 chip is showing a lot of heat around 100 degrees compared to the other areas around way less. Curious if I am seeing a faulty T2 chip or am I missing something? A little help would be great for this board.

    G3H is at 5V

    5V .32 amps on meter.

boot loop on meter is gone now.

Took the cover off the chip, it is around now 101 degrees and climbing. I may be correct but I am ASSUMING the T2 chip is faulty?

Any nearby shorted cap that may be throwing off the thermal camera?

No, just shows the heat on the chip itself. Turned the board over and the heat is centered perfectly on the T2 chip area. The chip is now sitting at 101 degrees.

Great, now I am getting a boot loop at one of the connections and the T2 chip itself is very hot.

Now boot loop is gone on the meter. Odd. T2 chip at 102 degrees

Check voltages and resistances to ground as usual.

Forgot we had an SOFix Tester, plugged up tester to the JB500 Connector,

All pins read good except pin 42

Reading is 72 while the good value is 738. I tested for short but nothing came up from that area.

Pulled a good (activaiton locked board) reading was good so value is supposed to be at 738 (pulled 742)

I am curious why Pin 42 is pointing to DB529 And the USB C chip on pin 90. Any ideas why this is, it is soldered on correctly and there are no shorts on the board after testing for short to ground.

                  A2141 Boot Loop Issue
                  by Stephen
Board has no signs of water damage. Board had the APPLE error logo when recieved, reset with DFU and restored and installed new os.

OS installed but then it would not post and boot loop with a hard fan spin over and over. The apple logo will not appear and the bar will only reach about a quarter of the way and loop again. I tried DFU again with REVIVE and it still continues.

Attempted Safe Mode and the computer does however boot into safe mode.

So the computer boots into safe mode but will not post normally. Any suggestions? This is new to me and would...

Samsung UE49MU6105K - boot loop, horizontal lines
                  by blaster_
Less than a year out of warranty, samsung UE49MU6105K craps out, they've got this designed obsolescence down to an exact science of self destruct when out of warranty...

Screen started to show horizontal lines and ghosted image at the bottom, then turned off by itself. Did software update, to no avail of the line problem, and got a boot loop after some minutes of watching TV. This boot loop will turn on the backlights for some seconds the sound comes on, the image will turn dark very fast and then it reboots again. Pressing power button will not put it on standby. Disconnecting...

MacBook Pro A1990 stuck at 5v .592 amps
                  by Fisher8865
                  Hi guys

I have a MacBook Pro A1990 that takes 4.9 Volts and .592 to .615 amps on one port. The other port on the left side power cycles with about the same amount of volts an amps but quickly power cycles. The same thing happens on the other side but opposite. So on the left side the bottom port stays on and on the right side it's the top one. I think it is a CD3215 chip but I am not sure how to test it or where to get one. I have checked for voltage at ppbus_g3h and it has 12.6 V which is also on fuses f7000 and f7001 I checked pp1v2_s3 and it has 1.2 V then...

                  Samsung QE50Q60AA - Reboot loop
                  by natiz
I have a QE50Q60AA that won't stay on - when turning it on, it makes the sound and reboots right after (sound is ok).
Disconnecting the LVDS cable stops the restart loop but no image.
I tried the tape method mentioned in other threads in many variations, but I couldn't get it to properly work (either reboot loop, or no image).
Tested the caps on the left buffer board, no beeps.

                  What else can be checked?...

Boot loop issue with LCD TV
                  by javierwilliam
                  Hello,
I am experiencing boot loop issues with my LCD TV. When the TV briefly displays the logo, such as LG or Philips, and then shuts down only to repeat this cycle, it indicates a boot loop problem. The challenge lies in the inability to install new software under these circumstances.

Should I consider replacing the mainboard as a solution, or are there alternative approaches to address this issue?

                  Thanks in advance!
