Newbie schematic reader - please help

I've attached a schematic of the board I'm looking at. The LCD backlight is not working and I'm trying to determine how that circuit is protected. What is the easiest means of finding this circuit on any given schematic?

    Thanks!

Search for the keywords like 'lcd' or 'backlight'. Important to try all permutations to find the portion of the schematic that is relevant to the work. For example there will be a backlight for the keyboard, etc. Lcd is a good one.

Page 55. Main reason for missing backlight are issues with DCBATOUT_LCD, BLON_OUT_C and LCD_BRIGHTNESS. Check these lines for proper voltages with internal display attached.

Got it, and thank you. Guess I'm going to need a boardview for this. I'll see if I can scare up one of those and continue my checking.

LCD1, Pin 1 is most right in this picture. You can measure DCBATOUT_LCD without display connected, but for the other signals you might want to find a better test point with multimeter, while the display is connected.

newbie needs capacitor sizes. HP Spectre X360. schematic maybe available
                  by tranquility
hello, i am very new to laptop repair and generell electronics

                  i have a HP Spectre X360 Convertible 13 - ap0016ng
                  motherboard number DA0X36MBAE0 REV E

massive burned and shortet mosfets. after removing them still shortet in the i think "main power rail"

found a shorted capacitor. removed it and the short is gone.

i want to try a crazy repair which is hard because the mosfets are like welded on one side to the track. is there a method to get this loose ?

in this area another capacitor was shortet.

                  ...

Fixing the Charge Circuit of the Batteries of the DC Motor
                  by Astonished
                  Hi friends of electronics

What you see in the video and pictures attached is the circuit for charging the batteries of a DC motor.

The problem is that this circuit cannot charge the batteries (3 1800mAH NiMH batteries) any more. When the circuit was OK, its green LEDs lit up one at a time to show that the batteries have charged more. But now that the circuit is flawed, LEDs light up as you see in the video and at the same time successive beeps are heard.

Please help me fix this circuit.

Lenovo L490 Ram voltage circuit malfunction
                  by rddube
                  Hello friends,

Looking for some guidance here. The RAM voltage circuit on this motherboard keeps burning out PU301 which is a RT8231AGQW. Copy of the board with the burnt chip attached with some voltage measurements and copy of the schematics also included.

I think I've checked almost every component in the circuit, but when I change the RT8231, the laptop starts I have 1.2V on the inductor for about 10 seconds and then the RT8231 goes south and no more voltage on the inductor. All other voltages on the laptop are good, this is the only one conking out for a reason I...

Schematic vs. Reality: Where Are the Resistors on My Sharp Clock Radio? Model FY-70CH
                  by TinkerTron
                  Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on a mid-70s Sharp Electronic Digital Clock Radio, Model FY-70CH. I found the service manual online, printed it out, and have been studying it for a while. My main reasons for tackling this are: (1) I want to learn electronics and figured I'd start with something I had on hand, and (2) I want to fix its issues. Right now, the radio sounds awful, has about 5V DC at the speaker terminals, and the alarm time setting doesn't work. But I'm not asking how to fix these problems.

Instead, here's what's been bugging me so far:
                  The schematic...

                  Acer x163w Monitor PSU schematic
                  by atunguyd
Ii wonder if anyone can help me. I have a Acer x163w monitor which is not powering up. The PSU main capacitor's one leg had completly come off - I replaced it but the PSU is still not outputting DC. I found the monitor in questions service manual here on manuals lib but the schematic in there is a completely different - the schematic shows no mosfet to drive the transformer while the one I have does use a mosfet - also the schematic shows only one optocoupler but mine has two.
The PSU board is labelled FM-20A02-AAA made by APD as per the image below. I am trying to find a schematic for this...
