I have a Lenovo IdePad s340-15IWL that will charge fine to 100%, but if you let the battery drain to around 50% (give or take) and plug the AC adapter back in, it will no longer charge and the only way to resolve the issue is to disconnect the AC adapter, disconnect the battery, plug the battery back in, and then the AC adapter, and then it will once again charge the battery back to 100%.
If you unplug the AC adapter and let it drain down a little and plug it back in, charging still works fine. I'm not 100% sure where the cutoff is where it stops working, but I think it's down around 50-60% or so.
I have tried a different battery and AC adapter, tried updating BIOS, but still have the same problem.
Does anyone know what might be the cause of this, or what I can try to test?
