    Motherboard asus x556uj maybe dead

    Hi im Monster.
I have an X556UJ motherboard, which doesn't turn on but the power led stays on all the time as soon as I connect the charger.

I have the boardview, I have analyzed all the voltages of the it8995e, all are correct (i mean, the most important for wake up the pc) except the RsmRst 0v and the PWRBTN 2.4v.

I have injected 3.3v into the rsmrst and the led turned off momentarily but nothing else.
Also check other threads where they say to inject 3v to +3VADSWO to see if the pch gets hot but that line already has 3v.
    Bios voltage pin 1 = 3,2v | 2 = 3,2v | 3 = 3,2v | 4=0v | 5 = 0v| 6= 0v | 7 =3,2v | 8 = 3,2v

On the photo can see that power light is always on, i dont knw why. Maybe Ec damaged? or pch?

what else can i check? Also i want to know where the RSMRST is from.

Sry if i dont know so much im learing

RSMRST# is generated by SIO and its a wake up call for PCH. When RSMRST# is released by EC and goes to PCH, then PCH in turn will release SLP_SX signal. What is the resistance on RSMRST#? It must be atleast 10K or higher. PM_BATLOW# status??

Resisitence 10k aprox some times 9.9k and others 10k so its working properly.
The BATLOW is high 3.2v aprox, so is active i guess.

My venerable and old laptop (Toshiba Satellite P75-A7200 equipped with an i7-4700MQ, circa 2014) and previously a powerful machine during its heyday is no more. Have been using it for many years, but about 3 months ago it went kaputt for no apparent reason (left it on overnight [normally it goes to standby mode after some idle time], and in the morning it was cold dead with no boot, no post, no leds; nothing at all).

Since the 1990s I have been building custom desktop computers, etc; but it has been few years since my last built one and for the last 15 years I have built very few...

                      Dell Latitude E6540 - 2nd dead motherboard
                      by DrvLikHell
Greetings and sanitations! Several years ago I received some really awesome help on this forum for fixing my monitor (which is still working) so I figure maybe someone can help with this laptop issue.

I have a Dell E6540, motherboard 9411P, DP/N:VWNW8. A year ago it died a strange death where at first it wouldn't turn on all the time, but would turn on when it felt like it, then it got worse where it wouldn't turn on at all and I would just get a flashing light. So I replaced the motherboard with a matching part number board. (I still have the old motherboard) Now a year later this...

Subject is a blank screen issue in HP Envy 17-3290NR 3D version laptop with motherboard Louis V1.1 6050A2489901 MB-A02. Production year is 2012. This one is a 2nd hand motherboard which I could use it for few months only. Suddenly no output from the internal display and also no signal from HDMI port then Windows out of order after few boots.

Caps lock working normally and no HP's caps-lock warning blinks. Making a hard reset and replacing the RAM sticks or using different slots didn't help.

Fans are spinning. Blindly could install windows11 and got the device manager...

                      ASUS P5GC-MX motherboard recap
                      by momaka
Here’s another motherboard that needed a full recap: an ASUS P5GC-MX.
This one was gifted to me some years ago by user Pentium 4, along with a few other goodies. It actually came in working order with no bulging or leaking caps. However, I noted there were United Chemicon KZG caps everywhere on the motherboard. The CPU VRM output (CPU V_core) was the only exception: it had only 2x KZG. The rest was 6x UCC TMV 4V 680 uF caps… which aren’t any good news either.

So here is what the motherboard looked like with its original caps:
