i need help finding an ic's name since there is no schematic or boardview for this laptop

Hi, I need a help to identfy the shorted capacitor on this board NB8608_MB_V4
Lenovo S540-15IWL GTX, SN: YX002A60. laptop powers up after capacitor been removed but I dont wan to leave it empty.

You will have to do some detective work here. The missing part appears to be near the large inductor which is linked to the nearby switching (buck regulator) with the 'LJ=' markings = Richtek.

Once you find the Richtek datasheet for this part, you will find a reference schematic which should be a clone of what is on your board. Using a meter in DIODE mode, you can review from the ref schematic as to what is missing.

Update:

LJ= is Richtek part # RT6258CGQUF.

Cbuff directly to the pin 10 of LJ and Cff with Rff not present
