SSD doesn't work after being removed from RAID0

Hi, I got issue with Corsair MP600 500GB drives.
I was using them in MSI GT83VR in RAID0 mode few months back, at some point I didn't needed them anymore so I removed them and stashed away.

Now I took one of those trying to install it in another machine, just single disk. BIOS recognizes it normally but when I try to install windows, installer reports drive with capacity of 927GB instead of 500 or less.

I couldn't do anything with diskpart and clean function or any other function I tried. I tried changing disk modes in BIOS and other basic stuff but didn't work.

Does anybody got idea how to bring it back to life again?

    https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Sol..._cell_clearing

    Tip:

I boot MX Linux 19.4 (version before current 21.2) from a USB key

I found 21.2 doesn't wake cleanly from Suspend, if necessary to reset SSD security Frozen by doing so

    Edit:

I just discovered Corsair MP600 is an NVME drive

Above won't work on NVME drives

I have used Parted Magic 220904 to clear an NVME drive

    Which I got on 1-Nov-22 from https://en.taiwebs.com/windows/downl...agic-2298.html

ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING - M.2_2 port not working correctly with SAMSUNG SSD980 1TB NVME SSD
      by DynaxSC
      Hi,

I have an really very weired issue with ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING.

Some NVME (PCIe) SSD's are not working correctly in the second M.2 socket. An example of it is the SAMSUNG SSD980 1TB NVME SSD.
Some other NVME (I have only smaller ones) disk do work without any problem, also SAMSUNG disks, eg an MZVPV128HDGM-0000.

The behaviour is also really very strange, i.e.:
      • The disk shows always up in BIOS - so it is recognized, so far so good
      • POST-ing with this disk with fresh Windows 24H2 installation (done in the M.2_1 socket) in the M.2_2 socket

It's 2025: do you know where your 5¼" floppy drives are?
      by eccerr0r
      Oh wow.

As in the other thread I was trying to revive/re-bootstrap an old Apple IIe and wasn't successful reading or writing any disk. Both drives behave similarly.

Then I was wondering, what about my PC floppy drives? I have a HH 5¼" HD drive and a combo 5¼+3½ drive. I tried formatting the disk that wouldn't work in the Apple and it didn't work in the PC either!

Then I tried a HD 5.25 disk ... it won't even touch the disk either! Just like the Apple DD disk, "Not Ready!"

Weird. Seems the PC drive is having trouble clamping...

ASUS ROG Strix G713QR - Keyboard, backlight and side LEDs don't work
      by hollox123
Hello, I have an "ASUS ROG Strix G713QR" laptop, and for approx. 3 months I have the following problems:

      1. Laptop keyboard doesn't work
      2. The backlight on the laptop keyboard doesn't work
      3. The x2 side LEDs (red) on the laptop don't work

The power button works, the touchpad works, and all the USB, HDMI, Ethernet, etc. ports work.

I already tried to reinstall all the drivers and reinstall Windows. So I don't know what to try anymore that is software-related.

But I am strongly aiming that it is somehow a BIOS-related problem,...
