I have a MacBook Pro A2338 with liquid damage. And some parts are broken. including The 2 pcs CF120 and CF 121 USBC_ATC1_R2D_C_P<1>. I have different LogicBoards from which I can take parts. But I can't find you. Can someone tell me exactly what SMD parts are? thanks

Re: A2338 820-02020-a
See attached. These are very common DC blocking caps - nothing special; any brand will do.
Value:
0.22uF X5R or X7R
0201 size (tiny !!!)
6v3 or higher is fine
Suggestion: Pickup 100 of these on cut tape as they are very cheap & easy to lose!!
Where do you shop for such parts? RS / Digikey / Mouser ?Comment

Arrow / RS / DK / Mouser may be faster and better but Aliexpress does offer the parts.

by Mark DThe TV is a Samsung UN65JU67ODFXZA Version TD01. I replaced the power source board and the TV is now working, but I decided to try and troubleshoot the old board to fix at the component level. Trying to get a schematic and a parts list has proven to be an issue. Trying on my own, I can't tell you how many times my Norton security has flagged sites as "malicious". I ordered a service manual from ServiceManuals.net, paid $16.99 and got 66 pages of everything BUT schematics and component parts list! Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Some of the surface mounted component parts...

by todordmThere are a lot of Video Tutorials how the SSD of A2338 or A2337 can be upgraded. Normally they say you can order the bigger SSD chips (0 and 1) from China. But as far as I understand you can take the SSD chips of one A2337/A2338 and install on another, put to DFU mode, do the recovery, reinstall etc... I tried that several times (tried to upgrade 256GB to 512Gb, then to 1TB, then to another 256Gb)... nothing worked. So my question to the community is: can I just take the SSD chips from one A2338 and intall them on another A2338 (taking care of course of the 0 and 1 positions)? Or I have always...01-17-2024, 03:55 AM

by 2elwHey, I find it very absurd that the SVOD4 costs so much and has zero documentation. I had no other choice than to buy it to unlock ECs, if there was any documentation or firmware avalible I could've made it or something simmilar. Anyways here are some of the most important parts:
STM32H723VGT6 MCU - It's a microcontroller by STMicroelectronics and its the whole brain of the SVOD4. It has flash memory for the firmware which can be updated by the SVOD4 program. Its also powered by the AMS117 which converts 5v into 3.3V. 7€ on AliExpress.

by User555111Currently Im trying to get this A2338 13" 2022 MacBook Pro M2 to function properly, Right now the trackpad and keyboard are not working but the power button and keyboard backlight are working. the Touch Bar shows display but does not respond to touch. I bought it on eBay and it was described as having a bad lcd. When I received it however I found that it was also missing the wifi and bluetooth antenna along with most of the screws hardware. it was also showing picture on the LCD but no backlight, I could also see some lines on the screen indicating the lcd was also somewhat damaged. on top...

I recently found myself the proud owner of a later-model Samsung plasma (the PN59D7000 for those keeping score at home) whose panel was, unfortunately, damaged in transport. I'm now preparing to part it out, but am curious as to whether or not any damage would have come to any of the components by attempting to power it up with the panel being broken. I read in one Avsforum thread (for whatever that's worth 😂) that the "scan driver boards" (by which I assume he means buffer boards) could be impacted by doing so. Is that actually the case? If so, since I don't intend on selling bad...
