As I said, I am not able to get into DFU mode because when I plug keyboard flex, macbook restarts faster. On the picture you can see how the flex is damaged. I will try to look under the black tape if its not broken.Attached FilesComment

My bad...
read as that you are able to do this with an external keyboard. I know at the office we have an external Apple keyboard that pretty sure sometimes is used for cases like this. You need to press Apple keyboard specific keys to enter the DFU.Am I able to get into DFU with external keyboard (not from apple)
Is this damaged cable replaceable and inside a socket on each end ? Suggest to source a fresh one.Comment

Finally i repaired the flex and do not inserted the trackpad just to work with keyboard. I have entered PADLOCK, DFU and RECOVERY and tried to do something from internet (restore, update etc) but all I can get are some errorr. Even when it looks like it can be updated the error -1 or 75 or 3004 shows. Any idea?
Maybe update my MBA M1 which I use for restoring the MBA 2018?Attached FilesComment

I have a ThinkPad T460p that keeps restarting instead of shutting down. The culprit is the LAN: if it is disabled in the BIOS, the problem is solved. I have already replaced the LAN chip (WGI219LM) twice, done CleanME, flashed another BIOS. Unfortunately all without success. What else can I check? -
Hi everyone, I have a MacBook A2442 with the 820-02098 that frequently restarts during the boot process. When it boots to the start screen, it crashes immediately as soon as I click the setup button on the trackpad (it was restored). The motherboard looks fine.
