Re: XBox One - ADP-200BR - No Power
This is great that they are not shorted but this does not mean that they are working correctly though
What is the voltage across the main filtering capacitor on the primary side of the power supply remember that we are talking about main line voltages here so be careful measuring this voltage across the capacitor
If you have an incandescent 100 watt light bulb and can wire it in stead of the fuse would be advisable this would be a little safer way to to work on this switching power supply

Re: XBox One - ADP-200BR - No Power
Look at the area around the switching transformer on the board there should some type of regulator ic chip that has five pins or you will have to Google them to see what type of ic chip they are but it might be easier for you to post some pictures of the front and back of the board
This might also help you
https://d3nevzfk7ii3be.cloudfront.ne...3YYtiFUm4.huge
Is the pictures that they have in this post what you have because if it is the ic chip that TINY 247 is the type of ic chip that I am talking about these ic chip have a tendency to go bad
If the dc side ( or secondary side of the power supply is pulsing check and see if you have a short with a volt meter on ohms setting and check each power supply rail for shorts
This one might not but it has some troubleshooting tips

Re: XBox One - ADP-200BR - No Power
Well its little hard to tell the values that i have... because some of them i need to put black probe on some Heatsink of some AC transistors to get the big values like 300V around...
But i have been already replaced all Electrolitic Capacitors, i mean the AC side and DC Side.
Well, i think the problem is on DC side, because i get big values one AC side, but when i go to DC side seems the values are pulsing in abnormal cicle...Leave a comment:

Re: XBox One - ADP-200BR - No Power
Look for the switching power supply regulator ic chip and or a PWM controller ic chip or off line regulator or any other type of regulator ic chip the main capacitor for the regulator do you have any power in this sectionLast edited by sam_sam_sam; 02-16-2021, 10:41 AM.Leave a comment:

XBox One - ADP-200BR - No Power
Hello community, hope your fine all with health.
I'm here to try to get some of your help diagnosing one PSU from one XBox One.
The model of PSU is ADP-200BR AA.
So is one unit that outputs 5V or 12V, i mean, i think the 5V are for standy, and 12V fully working voltage.
Well as most of you should know this PSU have very common faults, and most of them are related with bad caps, but each case is one case, so on this one, after i replaced new caps (all of them on PCB) i plug the power cable on PSU and i don't get any color on his LED Indicator.
So if everything was nice, i should get an orange color lighted and PSU is on Standby.
But i don't have nothing, i measure the 12V and 5V pins and i get 0V on both.
I think i get a new issue or still have any problem on PSU, i measure it looking for shorts to GND and nothing beeps, seems all are fine and with nice look.
I get some voltages but i think only on AC side, on DC values are low, unstable or even 0V.
Any suggestion or help of anyone guys ?Tags: None

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by PantherDaveHi all!
I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅
I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

by GLISITHi all,
TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!
I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!
A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about... -
by Unspun01XBOX One original, not XBOX One S. Has problems turning on.
Power supply is good. Touch panel is good. Both work in another xbox.
HDMI and USB ports are fine.
The last time this XBOX turned on, it had an ERROR 102 so I know it can turn on, and I know it may have a hard drive issue. But the power issue is driving me nuts.
When power supply is plugged into xbox, there is no response from the XBOX. Cannot power on, or eject. No lights. no sounds, not even a fan twitch. Power supply LED remains orange.

by sam_sam_samI have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump
One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy... - Loading...
