So, I have a really bizarre issue that I'm struggling to identify the cause of. Working on an 820-02020 board with some bizarre keyboard/input-source character mapping. My suspicion is a possible damaged SPI ROM (U1970), perhaps, but I'm really not sure in this case:
1. The issue is pretty weird, but when installing MacOS, I noticed my WiFi password did not work. I quickly realized the special characters (!@#$%^& etc) were not mapping correctly.
2. I noticed the keyboard layout/input-source is defaulting to JAPANESE every single time I restore the board. I am not... -
Hi all, the PSU originally had a no 12v issue where as soon as I bridged the 5v standby to the ACDC_stby the psu would switch itself off completely. I monitored the voltage on the main filter caps while doing this and saw that the PFC was bringing the voltage up to around 360vdc before shutting down. Given that I saw that as a little low I replaced the PFC feedback resistors from a donor PSU and that got it to power on, without a load no coil whine is present and there is a stable 12v however as soon as I put it in the PS4 it starts whining really badly, however 12v remains stable but after a... -

I bought a Cheap HIFI to use as my PC output and speakers and forgot to check if it had an input. It doesn't.
Is there any way to add a stereo input. I have a bunch of Phono sockets I am not using.
Where in the circuit is the best place to solder the 3 stereo input wires?

I've got a Crua CR270C that had a short to ground on the input jack. The input was rated at 12v 4A center pin positive. When I took the board out and powered it with my bench power supply it jumped to 3v and 4A CC and a chip labeled either TM3db2 or TV3db2. I'm not able to find anything online typing in those strings of letters and numbers and searching websites like s-manuals hasn't yielded anything. It is an sot23-6 package type according to my digikey ruler and I was able to work out some of the pinout from voltages on the board and following the traces around.
