It's held across the APU/NOR/SYSCON chips on the motherboard and on the BD-ROM Daughterboard. On the BD-ROM Daughterboard the chip you're interested in is the Renesas chip. If you have a faulty drive board then you can purchase the identical revision board from AliExpress and transplant the Renesas chip across to get it working again. I've done this before and it's worked perfectly. It's not the easiest swap as the chip has lots of legs at very fine pitch but if you're good with an air wand then it's a perfectly reasonable repair.
