    help with or xbox dead

has anyone ever had to replace the SVC chip on original xbox? 1.3 version
i have fully recapped main board and eliminated psu with working original
and checked the print for corrosion caused by leaking clock cap ect

box will start up fine when the SMC ic is frozen with freezer aerosol spray
but otherwise it just wont start,
sometimes the fan will spin if you keep holding the power on button
    but it wont start up
i would value your opinion thanks

Xbox one S - Dead or No Power
    by Blk_crown
My xbox one s died recently and currently it shows no signs of life. I took it apart and did some troubleshooting using board view to do some voltage checks in areas of interest. It doesn't appear to be a dead short since I get 12v on the caps near the cpu and other voltages like 3.3v, 5v, 1.1v as shown on the board file. I didn't check every point as that would take forever. When I look at it from my thermal camera, the Southbridge chip has a little glow on it when plugged into power.

The power switch on the detachable face board seems to be fine when using the multimeter to check....

    An Xbox One PSU Odyssey
    by TMTGTR
Firstly I am not a tech. You guys may see mistakes or oversights in my methods so don't be bashful and feel free to post corrections/opinions.

    =>Background:
I bought my son a used Xbox One original model: A12-220N1A Rev: 02 with original PSU & 2 controllers 7 years ago. I “modded” the unit placing a 4.5” 12V exhaust fan with a 9v wall wart adapter on top of the vent/fan of the unit. And plugged the Xbox PSU into a Tripplite LTR-600 voltage regulator. Also connected to the Tripplite are a 275w computer tower, an Xbox 360 PSU and a Westinghouse 52” LED TV. ...

    Xbox One S - 12V Rail Short - Q9F1 Keeps Blowing
    by grimacelord
    Hello,

Have an Xbox One S here that has a short on the 12V power rail. There is no power, beep, or partial fan spin when connecting power cable.

After diagnosing with thermal camera, Q9F1 MOSFET (NTTFS4C50N) is getting hot. When I remove this MOSFET, the short on the 12V rail disappears.

I first replaced Q9F1 with one from a donor board and then partially reassembled the Xbox to test. When I plugged the power cord in, I got a partial fan spin and I thought I had fixed it, but unfortunately, the Xbox still did not power on. So I then disassembled the Xbox...
