I am trying to repair an Autec A08 remote which does not turn off and depleting the battery
I spotted a burn mark on the li-ion charger IC what I removed, and after the removal the power ON LED is no longer continously on, however it does not turn on at all.
I traced the enable signal of the VBA - 3V3 DCDC LM3674 converter and it is wired to the charger IC through some passive network.
Likely to disable the power for the MCU/RF part during charging in the bay.
After investigating the IC further I got to the following:
The markings were barely visible as the board was coated, my best readout from the IC was:
AAAC
1702
I have attached an photo from the IC itself but it is quite useless in quality.
The board itself is made from mostly western semiconductors (Atmega128A, MSP430, LM3674).
Does anyone has a good tip about what type of IC could it be?
