Mighty Dry Herb Vaporisor

I have got a faulty Mighty Dry Herb Vaporisor, it fully powers on and works ok, but does not charge the batteries

I have found a shorted components next to the power in jack, it has the logo on it from General Semi, and the marking BT 06A, but I can't ID what the actual part number/model number is to be able to get a replacement

Can any help ID this component please

i think it's a bi-directional Transil surge protection device.
probably 6v rated - is it a 5v input on that?

The rating of the device is 12V at 2A, I have been doing some research of my own, I think it may be a SMBJ18CA 18V 600W TVS Diode

that makes sense for a 12v rail.

Power input TVS is shorted... yet it powers on? Makes no sense. Next full moon is Nov. 15 Beaver Moon so that isn't causing it lol.
I would check the green fuse next to it. There should be one for the battery. But which connector is that?

Yes, it does power on but does not charge, there are two 18650 type batteries in this device, both plug in via a two pin connector (the white ones behind the barrel jack, also both the batteries have a two pin connector for I assume temperature that is separate from the power one these are the smaller white connector above the barrel jack

Well good news, thank you for all the help, the replacement component (SMBJ18CA) has been fitted, no shorts detected, internal fuse ok and unit is now charging again!!
