    Switch Liten No Power / 0,04A 12V

    Hello Guys,

I'll make it short and quick.

When I have the switch connected to power, the ampmeter shows 0.043 amps at 12V.

The screen doesn‘t turn on. And there is no sound either.

    The battery is at 3.7V.

I have replaced the USB port and it appears to be functioning well so far. I have also tested each pin against each other with a USB test board to check for any shorts.

I didn't find any shorts on the M92 chip. Here are some screenshots of the chips and where I measured ground.

In some parts, there are ground connections on both sides. However, I am not sure if this is normal. For example, on the MAX77812 chip.

I found this picture in other posts and also took measurements to see how it is for me.

I grounded at the USB port at the points.
I have these values at the measuring points:
    A=12V / B=12V / C=12V / D=4.2V

What else can I check or replace?
Does anyone have any more ideas?

Even if there aren't any shorts on the M92 chip it may still be the issue. I don't know what kind of damage thee was to the port, but it's super common that damage to the port will kill the m92. I've seen plenty before that didn't have any shorts on them, but were still faulty and pulling around the same amps you're reading.

Nintendo Switch-No Shorts and not charging
        by nebulink
This is a strange one for me. I have a Nintendo switch that turned on initially. The BQ chip was getting very hot. I unplugged and tried a different battery in case there was a problem with them one that came with it. I was told that the battery had been swapped.

After trying a new battery, the unit would not turn on.
Ammeter shows 15v 0 amp draw.
Tested around BG, P13 and M92. No shorts. Decided to swap out BG. Same result.
Checked voltages around BG, M92 and Max 177050.
        Also checked Max 177621.
Getting desperate, I changed M92. Nothing

        Micro Momentary Push Switch?
        by Natob82
Great to be here! I'm a newbie here trying to find a "micro", momentary push switch to repair a Sony "clamshell" video walkman. This micro switch has long since discontinued by Sony, however I hope there are third-party switches of the same size and functionality that I might be able to source to play the same role. The purpose of this switch is to tell the video walkman that the user has activated the mechanical tape eject button, turning that physical action into an electronic signal that tells the tape transport mechanism to open so one can load or eject a video tape. I...

NEC TurboExpress On/Off Power Switch Replacement Help
        by grimacelord
        Hello,

I've been working on a NEC TurboExpress and I accidentally got the plastic inside the power ON/OFF switch too hot while doing other repairs and melted it. At first, it would still power on when sliding the switch, but you had to really press inward while sliding to get it to work.

I removed the switch component and tried to gently melt the plastic back so it would work more reliably and all I managed to do was make it worse.

I need to find a replacement On/OFF switch for this, but having some trouble figuring out which kind of switch I need....

Help making a switch work the opposite way with a relay
        by SluggerB
I have a very small float switch, I'm using in a very small tank. It only fits in one way. Link https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-Switch.../dp/B07DZ1J2GB

I want the switch to be open when the water is high, and closed when the water is low. Unfortunately it works the opposite. And since this switch is designed to be underwater, it's all sealed up, there is no taking it apart or hacking it up.

It will be driving a water pump, basic idea, when the water is low, switch closes, which turns on water pump, when enough water is in the tank, float switch floats,...
