PS4 no power after enabling UART

Hi, I have a PS4 Slim that shows no power after I tried to enable UART.
Before this it was working fine except for the disc drive.
I removed the NOR flash, patched the dump to enable UART and put it back on the motherboard.

After this process the PS4 acts like there's no power. I tried the power button, inserting a disc and using the joypad. No beeps/no leds.

It was my first time attempting this so I'm afraid I broke something on the motherboard while using the hot air station, but I can't see any obvious problem or missing component.
    • I checked the caps around the flash for shorts to ground and they look good
    • 12v, 5v rails are not shorted to ground
    • NOR VCC not shorted to ground
    • PSU is working fine in another console
    • NOR flash is still good, I desoldered it again and was able to read its content
    • Writing back the original NOR flash dump didn't fix the issue

    What else should I check?
    Thank you!

    Update on the situation:

I've been sick the last couple of days so I didn't look too much at the console. Today I picked it up again and connected it to a TV, and everything is working fine.

I'll monitor it for a while but I'm still curious about what could've caused the no power issue

The problem with ps4 is that the source bridge is damaged. You need to replace the chip so that you can boot the device. and see the uart .
What type of board for your device؟؟؟
      i can help you.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
        by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

        Assuming...

        Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74 power issue
        by GLISIT
        Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

Dell Optiplex 7490 AIO - red power led after flash
        by Mark01
        Hi guys,

This is my first post! 🚀
I have no idea what I’m doing, but I’m learning by trial and error.

I’m currently working on a Dell Optiplex AIO 7490—one of a bunch of AIOs that mysteriously failed to POST just a few days after the warranty expired. The original issue was that the PC worked fine until it was rebooted, after which it got stuck on a black screen (no backlight), with fans spinning at normal speed and a solid white power LED. Forcing it off by holding the power button would just cause it to switch on automatically and get stuck again on...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
        by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...
