    DELL Precision 5720 All in One BIOS

    Hi guys,
    can anyone extract bin from exe please?
    Also what chip is used with this motherboard as my one is missing?
    Board model is IPPSL-DC-AMETHYST VER 1.01

      The parts extracted from the exe file are not the complete bios file, you need the original bios file to combine them into one complete bios file.

          Hello everyone,

          I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.

          This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.

          I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...

          Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

          I bought a DELL Precision 3660 Tower Workstation from a second-hand seller. After bringing it home, I found out it was actually a testing unit. The BIOS cannot be upgraded (only the ME and PD2 sections are upgradable), and there are test messages displayed during boot, which really affects the user experience.
