Did you look for the bios at the support site https://www.biostar.com.tw/app/es/eo...D=727#download
Rename from .BSS to .bin if your programmer doesn`t recognise the file extension -

Make another backup and compare with the unbooted virgin bios,if both files are still the same the motherboard isn`t posting, the bios isn`t being read or written to.Comment

Re: biostar j1800nh2 ver:6.0 bios request
Its the right bios for the motherboard. It will look different as the TXE firmware hasn`t been initialised until its booted (it will only change if the board is working with no other faults) ,and the NVRAM is not populated until its booted.

Re: biostar j1800nh2 ver:6.0 bios request
what is there to edit ? ,if the TXE firmware is cleaned and NVRAM cleared it will be the same as the virgin bios, assuming theres no other corruption in your backup,it only takes a few bytes to be bad and you can`t tell just by looking. If the virgin bios hasn`t worked the problem is 100% somewhere elseComment

Is your programmer an EZP**** ,i think your programmer is trying to remove a CAP header that isn`t there. It isn`t a cap file, just rename it from .BSS to .BIN before programmingLast edited by SMDFlea; 07-07-2022, 09:14 AM.Comment

Re: biostar J1800NH2 VER:6.0
Desktop PC repairs (Not bios requests or schematic requests) go here: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=14
The two parts of the forum are seperate. There is no need to post the same bios request again, i have posted a fully working bios for you.
When you write the bios select the chip manually,do not use auto-detect, the chip part number is etched on top, choose it from the support list. When you have written it it should automatically verify. Read it back again from the chip to make sure it has actually written to it,and compare it with the file i posted using a hex editors file-compare function. I use HxD hex editor, its free and there is a turkish language version.Just open both bios with it then select Analysis -> Data Comparison -> Compare .If they are the same then the bios has been written correctly and the problem is somewhere else.

by zeniusHello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...-

My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.
- I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
- I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
- I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this

by David GeeHello,
I am currently working on recovering my HP Laptop (Model: 17-cn0023dx) after a BIOS corruption issue. The laptop is stuck in a no-boot state, and the Caps Lock light is blinking with a 3.2 code (3 long, 2 short), which according to HP documentation indicates a BIOS corruption failure.
I have prepared a USB stick using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool, but I confirmed that it does not include a BIOS recovery image for Crisis Recovery. I also attempted to extract the BIOS file from the spXXXXX BIOS update package provided on the HP Support site, but that update only provides...-

by YorchLiI'd appreciate anyone who can help me with Bios for my laptop.
The laptop turns on but caps lock stays blinking white.
I have done some attempts on flashing and configuring but there are incomplete things that I cannot get through (it´s been lots of days of reading and downloading many files, watching videos, making mistakes on purpose and others not so much)
The faulty Bios backup I got has the exact information for the new "clean" BIOS. Maybe you can help me ¨see¨ where the problem was with the old Bios.
I manage to do the following:...-

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to recover a Fujitsu Lifebook E5513 (most likely 2023 model) that was bricked during a BIOS update. The update was interrupted (probably due to power loss), and now the laptop is stuck in a boot loop showing "PBB rollback" / "SBB rollback" messages.
BIOS access (F2) and Boot Menu (F12) are no longer possible – the system instantly reboots after the rollback messages.
I extracted the official BIOS update package from Fujitsu (contains FJNB2FD.CAP, ~18.7 MB) and tried tools like UEFIExtract, but it seems to only contain...-
